Lot: 133 Description: GNRR - stamped on wooden brake club with attached rope for hanging. Measures 28" long and in good condition. These were made of hickory and were impossible to break. Lots of stories accompany these from the railroaders early days of placing bets in bars that it could not be broken. Needless to say the lucky owner of the club usually walked away a little wealthier. Always a nice find railroad marked. Minimum bid: $40 Price Realized: $110 |
