Lot: 4 Description: IRON FIREMAN – cast iron ashtray shows robot style figure perched on the back side holding a shovel full of coal. Base reads, “The Iron Fireman.” Manufactured by F.H. Berger Co. Research shows this company was started in 1893 and produced horse drawn carriages until 1906 when they began manufacturing motor cars and eventually became part of General Motors. Good used condition and measures 6 ½” x 4” and stands 5” tall.
