Lot: 93  Description: WAX BURNER - Early green glass alcohol burner patented on September 14, 1880, and March 14, 1893. The glass jar has nickel-plated brass fittings around the wick and sits in a footed tin holder. The cementing of the wick fittings has diminished over time. It measures 4" in diameter and stands 8" high. This is a remarkable historical piece with no manufacturer marks.
