Lot: 342 Description: AT&SF RR Lantern – (Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe) on shoulder of 1873 Adams & Westlake lantern featuring a single wire guard, brass top, and twist-off bell. It includes a clear Santa Fe logo CNX globe, though the globe is cloudy and yellowing. The frame has light pitting on the bell and minor spots on the shoulder but retains strong original tin. Patent dates are present but worn and difficult to read. This rare lantern will make a valuable addition to any collection and certainly one of the stars of this issue.
