Lot: 107 Description: COLORADO & SOUTHERN CLOCK – platform clock from Business Car 900. Attached on the back is a tag marked with this information. Clock is attached to original cherry wood wedge for mounting in the corner of the platform. Solid brass clock resembles Seth Thomas although no manufacturing marks are shown. Brass bracket light attached to the top to illuminate the dial at night. Clock measures 8” diameter and 4” deep. Not sure if this is in working order as we do not have a key. We had the pleasure of selling this piece in 1997. As with many pieces we have handle this one comes full circle waiting for a new caretaker. A great piece of early Colorado railroad history.
