Lot: 422 Description: COLORADO & SOUTHERN BOARD MEETING – Memorial book in memory of James J. Hill, “As adopted at a meeting of the Board of Directors of The Colorado & Southern Railway Company held at the office of the Company in New York, on September 22, 1916.” The leather-bound book with 7 pages divided by tissue paper expressing sympathy and thanks by the board to Mr. Hill for his advice and counsel and the loss that the board feels in his passing. The book was presented to Mrs. Hill and was housed in the J.J. Hill Reference Library. Each ornate page is framed with gold gilt and signed by the members of the board. Comes with leather bound slipcover. Another wonderful historic item that will be a prized addition to any collection.
