Lot: 421 Description: CHICAGO BURLINGTON & QUINCY BOARD MEETING – Memorial book in memory of James J. Hill, “As adopted at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the CB&Q held at the office of the Company in Chicago, Illinois June 22, 1916.” The leather-bound book with 7 pages divided with tissue paper expresses sympathies and promises by the board to continue their business dealings in the same manner as Mr. Hill would have done. Each page is ornately printed with gothic text and embossed border designs. Book measures 8 ½” x 10” with leather slipcover. Originally housed in the James J.
