Lot: 361 Description: BD&F RR C KEY & LOCK – (Belvidere Delaware & Flemington CAR) serif letters on tapered barrel single ring key manufactured by H. Ritchie & Company. Comes with unmarked brass heart shaped lock with matching manufacturer and patented Aug. 25, 1867. Dark patina on the lock with strong spring in the key cover and in working order but shackle needs a lift when opening. The key is beautiful with nice marks. This line dates from 1851 to 1871 and was a feeder line for the Lehigh Valley RR. A welcome addition to any collection. Minimum bid: $200 Price Realized: $440 |
