Lot: 356 Description: WM PORTER & SONS LANTERN – nickel plated brass single wire guard bell bottom presentation frame showing last patent date of June 13, 1871. Comes with wheel cut globe that reads, “Geo. W. Kurlburt” in wreath on clear globe with polished top & bottom edges. Frame has small spots on the bell but otherwise good. The globe does have a 2” crack from top edge that is not well defined in the frame. Overall, an early and scarce offering that will make a welcome addition for the new owner.
