Lot: 129 Description: CA AND E RR SIGN – cast iron embossed sign from either Central Arkansas & Eastern or Chicago Aurora & Elgin. Background painted silver with letters and border in black. Reverse mount seems to indicate this was on a pole. This measures 18 ½” x 6” and ½” thick. Without a doubt early and I would suggest not many others have survived.
