Lot: 333 Description: D&RGRR LANTERN (Denver & Rio Grande) on shoulder of 1889 A&W single wire guard frame with twist off fount. Comes with red extended base globe that is etched D&RGRR, however, this is not a factory stamping. The globe is also more of rose color than deep red as we would expect. Still works for display. Fount has solder repairs but shows all the patent dates on the underside and replacement burner. Thumb latch shows heavy solder repair, but frame is straight and an early offering.
