Lot: 85 Description: NICHOLSON THERMIC SYPH ONS PLATE – brass builders’ plate measures 8 ¾” x 7 ¾”. Plate reads, “Patented and Pat’s Pending Locomotive Firebox Company.” 3 mounting holes and reverse shows four fatigue spits. There was number stamped on the reverse, however, the only number visible is “4” the rest is illegible. A rare and seldom offered piece ready to display. Minimum bid: $300 Price Realized: $650 |
