Lot: 405 Description: RGW RY LOCK (Rio Grande Western) embossed letters on panel of brass heart shaped switch lock manufactured by A&W shown in hexagon hallmark on the key cover. Iron clevis and “S” on the reverse of the shackle. Take a look at lot 300 for a matching key. Key turns but shackle will not release, still strong spring in the key cover. File marks on the shackle with dark patina and a rare lock missing from most seasoned collections. Minimum bid: $2,000 Price Realized: $4,300 |
