Lot: 317 Description: ADAMS & WESTLAKE LANTERN – nickel plated brass single wire guard bell bottom presentation lantern with chimney bale. Patented 1864, this one comes with clear wheel cut globe presented to “Lewis Steward over 1860 November 23rd, 1875,” encased in floral wreath. Globe has an unfortunate hook crack from top edge and extends 2 ¼” from the top. The crack is on the backside so not visible from a display standpoint. Well worth a second look.
