Lot: 87 Description: CM&STPRY BUILDER’S PLATE – (Chicago Milwaukee & St Paul) Baldwin Locomotive Works plate number 57181 built October 1923, off of a 2-8-2 Mikado type locomotive #8392, later renumbered $492 in 1938. Plate measures 9 ¼” and still holds curve from boiler mount. Reverse stamped: 1246 ¼ E 933. Small edge ding otherwise ready to display. Minimum bid: $500 Price Realized: $1,000 |
