Lot: 454 Description: SANTA FE ROUTE POCKET WATCH – engraved on face and inside of gold Waltham Model 1883, 17 Jewel, size 18s watch manufactured in 1896. Serial #7580457. There were apparently only 620 of these made so hard to say how many have survived. Appears to be in working order. However, the crystal is missing otherwise this is beautiful with gold chain and ornate embossed case. All of the Santa Fe watches are from the Warren Scholl estate. Please note there are 3 small hairlines on the face one just to the right of the seconds dial, one between 9 and 10 and a small line just below the 1. Still very acceptable.
