Lot: 218 Description: GREAT NORTHERN DINNER BELL – Nickel plated brass bell engraved “Great Northern Ry,” with intertwined Manitoba logo on the opposite. Embossed floral iron base. Finger press to ring the bell on the top. This is beautiful and the first I’ve had the pleasure of handling. Not sure where it might have been used. Possibly to summon a steward? This measures 4 ½” across the base and stands approximately 3 ½” high. No hallmark shown from the Craig Neros estate. Minimum bid: $200 Price Realized: $1,250 |
