Lot: 257 Description: GREAT NORTHERN PICKLE JAR – intertwined letters engraved on lid of silver frame housing ribbed side cut glass insert. Complete with matching beaded edge fork. Bottom stamped and manufactured by Gorham. Glass has some small hard to see chips on a few of the raised edges. Only able to see them by feel so understandable given the removal of the glass for cleaning. Coming in and out of the silver frame would have been tricky. I had the pleasure of selling one of these years ago and no question in regard to the rarity and desirability of this nice offering. Minimum bid: $200 Price Realized: $1,650 |
