Lot: 95 Description: FT WORTH & DENVER CITY PLATE - Baldwin Locomotive Works round brass plate #53231 from engine #458 a 2-8-2 built in May of 1920. 9 ¼” diameter and still holds curve from boiler mount. Reverse stamped 1250 ¼ E 418. Original condition showing typical scale and rust on reverse. Always a treat to find a matching builder’s plate with number plate as well.
