Lot: 116 Description: MILWAUKEE ROAD HIAWATHA EMBLEM – original cast aluminum emblem from the side of a streamlined passenger car. These were manufactured in their shops in the late 40’s primarily for the Olympian Hiawatha trains. Measures 11 1/4” x 18 7/8” tall with 4 mounting holes. Reverse stamped 7725. Bonus addition to this is a Walther’s O-Scale model of an Olympian Sleeper, The Mt Rainier. It shows the emblem next to the door. Most of these were removed in the early 60’s as the cars were repainted. A wonderful addition to any collection. Minimum bid: $400 Price Realized: $775 |
