Lot: 67 Description: CANADIAN PACIFIC – brass front end number plate from engine 2229 a 4-6-2 built in 1913 by the Angus Shops. Plate measures 22” x 8 ¼” with mounting posts on reverse. Front has been cleaned and polished however, reverse still shows heavy evidence of rust and scale. The engine was retired and scrapped in 1961. A nice addition for any collection.
