Lot: 66 Description: BALDWIN LOCOMOTIVE WORKS – large brass front end number plate #101. Measures 14 ½” diameter. Engraved around the mounting post EX 3430 or EX 2030? There is a hole drilled in the top center of the zero otherwise this really is a beautiful plate that I suspect was off an engine that was built around the turn of the century. It is thought to be from either a Florida or George short line but at this time we are unable to identify. Either way a nice offering that will make a welcome addition.
