Lot: 64 Description: A&C PRICE LTD THAMES, NZ – brass oval builders’ plate NO. 122 built in 1928. : Large plate measuring 17” x 11”. Old red paint and showing considerable wear this piece is offered in original untouched condition. The A&C Price Company was the largest private railway locomotive manufacturer from 1868 to 1949 when it was bought by Wellington Engineers. They supplied the New England Government, but mainly the bush tramway commonly used for logging and freight. A unique and harder to find piece. Minimum bid: $100 Price Realized: $140 |
