Lot: 345  Description: PACIFIC EXPRESS – embossed on body of round brass six lever pancake lock manufactured by DK Miller. Shows last patent of 1902. Comes with matching key. This is in excellent working order with strong spring. The Pacific Express was formed in 1879 from the Kansas Pacific and Union Pacific Express Companies. It was taken over by Wells Fargo in 1911. Dark patina and in original untouched condition this is one of the stars of this issue this rare and desirable lock will be a welcome addition.
