Lot: 342 Description: FBC CO LOCK - (Fall Brook Coal Co) embossed on body of round brass 6 lever lock manufactured by DK Miller and patented 1873. The Fall Brook Coal Company was owned and operated by the Magee Family of Easton, Pennsylvania. During & after the Civil War it is said that the company became a major coal mining and transportation business in Pennsylvania and the southern part of New York. This is a beautiful lock boasting natural dark patina. Shackle does move however no spring remains. Still without a doubt an early and historic piece that will be a treasure for the new owner.
