Lot: 106 Description: RIO GRANDE WESTERN PHOTO – Baldwin Locomotive Works original builders photograph of engine 702, a 2-8-0 built in 1901. It was renumbered in 1908 to D&RG #992. The engine was scrapped in 1946. This early and scarce piece has been archivally reframed and measures 40” x 25 1/4”. This is one of the rarer builders photographs I have had the pleasure of handling. It is nice condition showing typical but very light foxing and small paper loss to the border title. Without a doubt a treasure for the new owner. I would hope that is can be picked up from me directly as the cost to ship will be high due to the size & weight.
