Lot: 90 Description: BALTIMORE & OHIO RR PLATE - Baldwin Locomotive Works Q 4 B brass oval builders’ plate #55776 built December 1922 off of engine #4479. Plate has been highly polished and measures 11 5/8" x 7 1/2". Small split extends from edge of right-side mounting hole, otherwise nice. Serial number on reverse reads, "1246 1/4 E 808." A rare and desirable plate sure to be a welcome addition. Minimum bid: $500 Price Realized: $1,700 |
