Lot: 137 Description: WHISTLE - brass single chime whistle with cast iron base. No manufacturers hallmark found. Bell has been painted black and measures 6" diameter and stands 18" high. It appears to me to be a Southern Pacific single note whistle that was most likely used on a rotary snowplow or other similar work equipment. It has an air operating device instead of a lever to actuate the valve. This is from the Todd Kettwig estate.
