Lot: 79 Description: READING - Baldwin Locomotive Works plate #72846 built in Sept. 1947. Brass pentagon plate from a VO-1000 switcher #31. Starting in 1948 these plates were manufactured in cast iron so the brass plates are a harder to find. 10 1/4" x 14 3/4". Plate has been cleaned for display and from the Neil Shankweiler estate.
