Lot: 118 Description: WHISTLE – 5 chime brass stairstep steam engine whistle. This monstrous piece measures 6” diameter and stands approximately 22” high. The whistle has been mounted on a cast iron wheel style base with embossed lettering that reads, “Property of Pennzoil Company Made in the USA.” This additional mounting increases the height to 37” and the base diameter to 20”. In original condition with layers of old paint and showing years of element exposure. An early and scarce offering. Honestly this will either need to be sent freight which will be costly or picked up from my location which I do prefer. We have been unable to identify the road this might have come from; however, this did come out of a Colorado estate. Complete with valve and great historic condition.
