Lot: 384 Description: D&RG RY ICE HOUSE LOCK - embossed letters on body of round brass six lever special purpose lock with clevis and 6 links of rusted steel chain. Dark patina with normal and expected small dents and scratches. This early and rare lock is one of the more sought-after Colorado relics. F 6 is stamped on the shackle and otherwise there is no manufacturers hallmark however, these were generally made by Miller. If this one could talk, I feel like the stories would be priceless. Shackle does spring back when pushed so I am guessing it would be working order. It will be a long before another comes along so don't miss this opportunity to add a stunning lock to your collection.
