Lot: 147 Description: SANTA FE CLOCK - manufactured by Chelsea with octagon shaped wooden frame. Reverse tag reads, "Business Car #32 Kitchen staff clock with serial #544645." Serial number shows this was manufactured between 1945 and 1949. Chrome face with black enameled letters and numbers. ATSF Topeka Kansas also engraved on the inside works. Clock measures 9" x 9" and in nice condition. This is from the Warren Scholl estate and unfortunately it did not have the key with it so I do not know whether it is in working order. However, there is a repair tag on the reverse. Chelsea company is still in business so it may very well be possible to obtain a key. At any rate no question this one is rare and will make another welcome addition to any collection. Minimum bid: $300 Price Realized: $420 |
