Lot: 123 Description: PENNSYLVANIA RR - cast iron oval plate manufactured by Altoona Works J.1 plate #4523 built in March 1944. From a 2-10-4 engine #6164. This war time plate has been cleaned and painted for display and does have cracks on both mounting holes only visible from the reverse. Plate measures 12" x 7 3/4" and another rare and welcome addition for any collection. Minimum bid: $750 Price Realized: $1,550 |
