Lot: 115 Description: KANSAS CITY SOUTHERN - brass diamond shaped plate manufactured by Lima Locomotive Works in July 1937 #J 7667. From a 2-10-4 engine #902. Plate measures 16" x 9". All four mounting holes are showing chips or damage. The lot includes a framed 8" x10" photo of the engine. These were the only Lima diamond ever produced that had a class cast in. Ron Muldowney shared that he had read that the plates were conventional Lima diamonds and the RR later requested a change to have the J cast in.
