Lot: 521 Description: SANTA FE ROUTE - enameled on face of Waltham 17 jewel gold pocket watch with Santa Fe Route also engraved on the inner workings. Montgomery dial with Serial #7452140 and 2912575 on the case covers. The serial number dates to 1896. Beautiful engraved case and appears to be in working order. The case does show a couple of darkened wear spots and 3 small hairlines on the face that I was only able to see through my camera. An early and amazingly rare offering again from the Scholl estate.
