Lot: 489 Description: AMERICAN EXPRESS CO. - colorful enameled tin sign advertising Money Orders, Foreign Drafts, Travelers Cheques & Letters on Credit. Sign measures 19 1/2" x 27 1/2" and manufactured by Mayer & Lavenson Co. Ny in February 1904. Now the bad news. Sign has suffered years of use and most likely exposed to the elements as well. Tin is bent with areas of rust and extreme wear to the paint. Still this just screams historic even in this condition and will still be a great treasure to add to any collection.
