Lot: 389 Description: PRR - (Pennsylvania) clear cast letters on 6 1/2" barrel globe housed in unmarked J.H. Kelly & Co brass top fixed globe lantern with twist off bell and whale oil burner. Brass cap is dented, and frame is dark with small areas of surface rust. A couple of the joints were repaired long ago but still strong. This early and scarce offering is from Greg Pinkham's collection and is an amazing survivor of the early days of this road. Minimum bid: $300 Price Realized: $1,000 |
