Lot: 173 Description: AT&SF BLEEDING BLUE CORN HOLDER - Top marked and manufactured by H&Co, Bavaria. One small chip on top edge and bottom edge of one of the feet. Still this scarce offering is still in very acceptable condition. There were very few of these manufactured. These were designed to place a corn cob on a puddle of butter, unfortunately they found when the passengers lifted the corn to eat the butter dripped down the front. So once a trial run was done no more were order. A great piece though to add to any collection. Minimum bid: $100 Price Realized: $675 |
