Lot: 149 Description: ICRR - embossed on nickel plated double inkwell stand. Two white porcelain jars with nickel plated lids that are embossed Illinois Central RR. Co. Detailed design with slot for paper and curved rests to accommodate pens along the top. Center section I would guess was to place a blotter. Overall measures 8" x 5" x 5". No manufactures marks shown. An early and hard to find example that will make a welcome addition, from the Greg Pinkham estate. Minimum bid: $100 Price Realized: $925 |
