Lot: 139 Description: UNION PACIFIC - 818 cast-iron front-end number plate from one of the famous 4-8-4's. Plate still holds black and silver paint and measures approximately 14" x 12". Numbers are bolted on and reverse casting no is 54 A 20. This includes a Classic Trains collector's Edition magazine dated February 3, 2004 showing this engine on the cover and discussing the illustrious history of these magnificent engines.
