Lot: 129 Description: LEHIGH VALLEY - American Locomotive Co./General Electric Co. Schenectady NY cast iron builders’ plate #75780 built in April 1948 off engine 612. Plate measures 12 1/8" x 6 1/4". Painted red and does have hook sized crack on top edge. Still good display and harder to find. I was told that the crack was caused by ice buildup which was common with these locomotives.
