Lot: 70 Description: PENNSYLVANIA RR – Juniata Shops K.4.s bronze oval plate measuring 11 ½” x 7 3/8” built April of 1924 plate NO. 3879. Reportedly off of engine #5355 a 4-6-2 scrapped in September of 1956. Plate still has slight curve from boiler mount. Again, from the Shankweiler estate.
PLEASE NOTE: This plate is replacing the previous T-1 plate that I had previously listed. It was pulled due to questionable authenticity. Minimum bid: $300 Price Realized: $4,600 |
