Lot: 400 Description: UPD AND G R'Y (Union Pacific Denver & Gulf) fancy cast on brass heart shaped switch lock manufactured by Union Lock & Hardware. Natural brown patina and matching key can be found at lot 317. Strong spring in the key cover but shackle needs a lift when opening. I am thrilled to be able to showcase this amazing early and rare Colorado lock. It has been years since I have had the pleasure of handling one of these so I am excited to see where it ends up. This line was gone by the late 1890's it is not surprising that few of these remain today. Minimum bid: $4,000 Price Realized: $6,000 |
