Lot: 379 Description: F&CC RR - (Florence & Cripple Creek) serif letters engraved on shackle of brass heart shaped switch lock manufactured by E.T. Fraim. Serial #464 on reverse. Comes with 8 links of iron forged chain and unmarked Fraim key that works great. Right cut just not marked. Attached tag, dated August 1976 states this was purchased from a gentleman in Canon City, Colo. The owner paid $100 plus two steel lock. Lock was found in a cave or mine shaft by the gentleman near Victor, Colo. Owner stated he had to talk all afternoon to get him to decide to sell. "I sure earned this one." I will leave the tag attached however, consignor’s family has asked to remain anonymous, so names have been removed. Minimum bid: $500 Price Realized: $1,550 |
