Lot: 363 Description: W. O. LEWIS -wheel cut in center of floral wreath on clear fixed globe lantern with brass cap, bale & bell. Manufactured by MM Buck Maker, St. Louis. The metal neck and bottom vertical section are rusted but the brass sections have survived showing only a couple of small fatigue splits on the bell. The bottom vertical where the bell locks in place appears split but possibly designed that way? Obviously very rare and early and still would display beautifully.
