Lot: 469 Description: CARSON & COLORADO RAILWAY - 1894 annual pass No. 54 issued to W. G. Karpe, Chief Clerk, Ry Mail Service. Black on green with red highlights. Edge foxing and small spot on reverse. Without a doubt one of the stars of this issue. This rare pass is from the Shankweiler estate. The Carson & Colorado was a 300-mile narrow gauge line in Nevada.
