Lot: 397 Description: NRR - serif letters stamped on panel of brass heart shaped switch lock with 9 links of iron forged chain. Manufactured by SC Thomson & Patented Aug 23, 1853. Comes with unmarked key that opens the lock, but shackle needs a lift. Strong spring in the key cover. Not sure of the road so I leave up to you. Without a doubt an early pre-Civil War era lock.
