Lot: 359 Description: CS&CCD - (Colorado Springs & Cripple Creek District) on shoulder of 1895 A&W double wire guard frame with drop in font. Comes with clear unmarked extended base globe. Frame is in original untouched condition showing dark surfaces. Underside of lid is heavily rusted. Missing globe retainer and replacement font that shows repair along the bottom. Still these frames are rarely offered and could easily be restored. A rare Colorado offering from the Shankweiler estate.
