Lot: 84 Description: LAS VEGAS & TONOPAH - Baldwin Locomotive Works Burnham Williams & Co plate #32251 dated November 1907. Off of a 4-6-0 engine #10. Brass plate measures 12 1/8" diameter and still holds curve from boiler mount. Number on reverse reads, 10 86 D 443. Plate is in beautiful condition as it appears to have been cleaned for display. Again, from Neil Shankweiler’s estate and another welcome and rare plate just waiting for a new place to be proudly displayed. Minimum bid: $1,000 Price Realized: $2,900 |
