Lot: 82 Description: DENVER & RIO GRANDE - Baldwin Locomotive Works Burnham Williams & Co brass builders’ plate #21757 dated March 1903. From a C-25 narrow gauge 2-8-0 engine No. 432. Originally Crystal River RR #103 this engine was dismantled in June of 1949. Plate measures 12 1/8" diameter and still holds curve for boiler mount. Number on reverse reads 1030 E 26. Once again, another scarce and seldom offered plate that will be a welcome addition and a treasure for the new caretaker. Minimum bid: $1,200 Price Realized: $5,500 |
